Vintage Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set by TSR, stock #1001, with the classic dragon box artwork. This is a well-used original gaming collection that also includes a substantial archive of period player-created D&D/AD&D campaign material.

• Handwritten campaign and gameplay notes

• AD&D player character sheets and related forms

• Printed/copied dungeon maps and reference sheets

• Vintage gaming/miniatures advertising and order forms

One of the handwritten character background sheets is dated 8/19/81. The handwritten maps, characters and campaign notes appear to represent an actual player's early-1980s D&D/AD&D gaming material.

All of these materials were found together and have been intentionally kept together as one collection.

CONDITION:

Vintage pre-owned condition with significant evidence of actual use. The outer box has considerable edge/corner wear, scuffing, marks, surface wear and age-related damage. The interior of the box has staining, marks and areas of paper loss.

Books, modules and loose materials have varying amounts of age-related wear, toning, marks, writing, edge wear and handling. The player-created maps and notes were working gaming materials and show appropriate use and age.

The large quantity of loose material has not been individually inventoried page by page. Map quantities are approximate. Please review all photos carefully for contents and condition, as the photographs are an important part of the description.
