This is an amazing, super cool and long discontinued 1990's Masport JIBAN KID COSTUME sealed in very rare OVERSIZED FRENCH BOX.

Manufactured by the MASPORT French company back in the 80's, this costume is an extremely rare piece that will be very welcome in any and all Jiban fans out there, as this is the kind of piece no one has... because very few collectors even know of it's existence!

BOX MEASURES:

25" x 16" x 4.5" ( 64 x 41 x 11 cm. ) approx. 

As you can see, this is a truly HUGE box.

BOX:

This is a FRENCH MARKET ONLY ITEM, so please expect any and all texts in French only too.

The box is SEALED and in VERY NICE CONDITION with what I believe it is minor usage & wear, as can be seen in the many pictures provided (all sides of the box).

Colors are very nice (please keep in mind that printing back in the 80's was not as sharp and nice as nowadays), edges and corners are very nice too.

Even so, please notice that the box:

- Has a rip on the upper right corner (picture number 6).

- Has some marker scribble on the outter plastic seal (pictures number 4 and 5), which doesn't affect the box itself.

- Has a bump on the upper right (which can be seen straight away on picture number 1, but also in many other pictures provided).

Bumps of all kinds are something very common to this kind of costume boxes, as they are made out of thin cardboard (kids were supposed to throw the boxes aways as soon as they dressed up) and with such big windows.

Since finding this costume in any condition at all is nothing short of a feat, I believe you will be very, very happy with it. 

CONTENTS:

This costume is 100% complete, new, SEALED and unused.

Please notice that:

- Costumes with fabric and plastic-like or rubbery fabric or add-ons tend to adopt a bad shape if they remain closed in a box for decades.

- Any electronic device contained in the box is not assured to work, as again, time can be a battery and/or circuit killer. In this case, the pistol seems to be electronic (it probably makes lights and/or sounds) even though the box does not state it.

- Also, please expect that some of the elements move inside the box. Some of the subjections of those items (pistol, mask, even the costume itself...) that I can see have given up after such a long time (please see picture number 9).
