A genuine GPO 332F Ivory Bakelite rotary dial telephone introduced in 1937 as the new standard GPO telephone and became the main British telephone until the late 1950s.
This is an original British General Post Office telephone, complete with its original braided handset cord and telephone line cord as shown in the photographs. I removed the modern BT line which is fitted with a 431A telephone plug to enable me to video the item, however this does suggest that the phone has been converted in recent years. I have included a photo of the wiring prior to removal.
The telephone retains its original pull-out instruction drawer, making it a fantastic collector's piece.

Condition
Very Fine condition throughout.
The Bakelite retains an excellent finish with only light age-related cosmetic marks consistent with careful use over the years.
The original braided handset cord remains in excellent condition, and all major components appear to be original.
