Up for sale is a partial lot of (11) original black-and-white promotional press photos for the 1990 U.S. theatrical release of the acclaimed film Jesus of Montreal. These authentic vintage cinema items were originally distributed inside official media press kits to critics and movie theaters.
Each photograph features sequential press kit numbering printed on the borders and includes the original paper "snipe" caption labels glued onto the reverse sides. These are genuine 1990 studio promotional pieces and not modern reproductions.
Good condition. These photos show typical wear from active theater use and long-term vintage storage. Several photos have small, clear pinholes in the white margins from being displayed in theater lobby frames. The glossy fronts show a moderate amount of fine hairline scratches and emulsion scuffs that become visible when tilted under direct light, as highlighted in the close-up images. The backs show crisp paper surfaces with vintage adhesive toning and noticeable amber staining along the outer edges of a few pieces caused by the original studio labeling glue
