Vintage Hallmarked Egyptian Sterling Silver 925 Enamel Lotus Necklace + Bracelet Set
This gorgeous set was made in Egypt and depicts the Lotus blossom, the ancient symbol of birth and creation, enameled in 4 bold colors.
The necklace is about 20 1/2" long with interesting links that have a shape that looks a bit like a fluted barrel, and the clasp is marked "925". The 5 center Lotus blossoms are graduated in size. The largest is a tad under 1".
The 8" bracelet has the Egyptian silver hallmark made up of three tiny symbols (see close-up). The center is a Lotus, the symbol for Egypt. The assay mark on the left is an unreadable Aramaic character that stands for the silver standard (which I assume is 925 but could also be 800?). The symbol on the right is the silversmith's mark.
It is in very good preowned condition. Ignore any white glare reflections. Please see all the pictures for finer detail and ask any questions that might be helpful.
