Original December 26, 1872 letterhead from The George Place Machinery Company, New York, dealers in railway and machine shop equipment. Addressed to Clark Bros. & Co., Milldale, Connecticut, the letter provides details and pricing on their 26-inch Swing Engine Lathe.
