Coin operated Bonzo bank, made in Germany by Saalheimer & Strauss 1920s.

Tin lithography, 7 inches tall (17 cm). 

Bonzo the dog is a fictional cartoon character created in 1922 by British comic strip artist George Studdy.

Markings on bank: DRGM, Made Abroad, SS ( Saalheimer & Strauss ).

The spring that deposists the coin through the tongue into the bank is weak.

A key which works on the bank is added (not the original one).

Near mint condition.
