These are wonderful sounding speakers and we are happy to keep them. Currently we cycle through different speakers and are in love with our 40 year old ADS L520s, so while these will be missed, we are perfectly okay to pass them on to another music lover. These weigh nearly 30 lbs each and about 35 lbs properly packaged so we may ship them as 2 boxes depending on whether we can properly fit them in 1 box with all the necessary protection. So it's either going to be (2) 35 lb boxes or (1) 70 lb box.
We were using them with an 80 Watt per channel NAD C379 Amplifier and that's plenty of juice to power these. I think a good quality 40+ WPC Class A/B/D amp would power these nicely or a better tube amp that puts out 25-35 watts.
