Built in 1961 by Brush Traction, this was a one-off prototype that later became BR Class 53 D0280 I've had this loco since new and fitted a DCC Decoder (Code 80). Now selling to downsize my collection of BR diesels. The locomotive is in good condition; fully operational and runs smoothly and as intended. One front buffer beam has been re-glued in place, as has one side window. The two falcon crests are missing. The accessories are notoriously fragile and become dislodged easily. I've tried to highlight any issues in the photos.  Also, one coupling only has been fitted due to the accessory pipes on the other end. The box is in excellent condition with few signs of wear.
