Small size Framed Print by JMW Turner RA picturing titled Scarborough, and thought to be in c1825. The picture features the South Bay beach in Scarborough with a background of the Harbour and Scarborough Castle. Frame size 345mm x 292mm. Image size 222mm x 173mm. Possibly a limited edition print of the original which is displayed in the Tate Gallery although further text confirming this, could be masked by the mount. The picture is in a gold tone frame, hardboard backed and complete with a hanging bracket. Condition of print is excellent and the frame is very good. The back board is covered and secured with tape all round. A nice print.
