TIPS for Replacing your Sliding Door Roller

- The Roller assembly is located behind the sliding door.

- The rail cover houses the sliding door roller assembly.

- In order to remove the rail cover, the tail light assembly must be removed first.

- Press the door OPEN button and turn door switch OFF from control panel (left of steering wheel).

- Remove screws on small body panel which covers the cables and pull off body panel cover.

- The rail/body panel slides back about 2 inches and then pulls off exposing the cables.

- To mark alignment, use a felt pen to trace around where the roller assembly mounts to the inside of the door.

- Remove or at least pull back the interior side panel slightly (located between sliding door and trunk).

- This is necessary in order to loosen the door drive cable inside the car enough to remove the cables from the rollers.

- Unhook the cables and remove old roller. Install new sliding door roller.
