Information Regarding Traditional Japanese Kimono

All Used Items May Have Minor Imperfections or Marks, from use or storage, and have an unusual scent. Please do not purchase if you are unsure

The kimono has been hand stitched in the traditional Japanese way. Most of the Kimono have a white tacking thread around the outside edges. These stitches are used to keep the edges flat during long periods of storage, they can be removed before wearing the garment. It may also be that the Kimono has not even been used, and has the original Tailor's tacking

Kimono should not be washed. They should be taken to a specialist dry cleaners or they can be aired outdoors for freshness.
