Description

An original Hornby Series No. 2 turntable for vintage O Gauge clockwork railway track.

Finished with a dark green tinplate base, red circular rail and silver rotating bridge. The centre is marked “Hornby Series” with the Meccano Ltd Liverpool trademark.

This is the manual turntable intended for use with vintage Hornby clockwork track; it is not being sold as an electrically powered turntable.

The turntable is in original playworn condition. There is surface corrosion, tarnishing, scratching, paint wear and dirt from age, use and storage. Some of the outer rail ends and connecting sections appear uneven and may require adjustment.

The bridge rotation and alignment mechanism have been tested and align correctly
