Up for auction is a magnificent antique Edwardian sterling silver photograph frame by the highly celebrated London silversmith William Comyns. This highly collectible piece showcases intricate, high-relief repoussé work featuring beautiful cherubs (putti) nestled amidst scrolling borders, floral garlands, and a fine background trellis design.

The front border features a crisp, authentic "W.C" maker's mark cartouche stamped cleanly into the silver scrollwork. The frame is complete with its classic circular photo window set against the original rich green velvet face.
