Fine late Edo or Meiji period Japanese bronze incense burner with twin handles and intricate relief decoration depicting dragons surrounded by ruyi borders. Base marked 大日本 文政年 整珉鋳 'Great Japan, Bunsei Era, Cast by Seimin'. This was mark of Murata Seimin (1781–1837) during the late Edo period but also used later by his descendants and others continuing his tradition. Nice quality piece and unusual quatrefoil shape which you don't see very often.
In great antique condition with typical age-related surface wear.
