DESCRIPTION –
This
item was included in a group of newspapers and maps used and/or collected by a
WWI veteran of the U.S. Military Postal Express Service. The collection
included maps of France used by the veteran during his service, many, many WWI
and post-WWI issues of The Stars and
Stripes newspaper, many issues of WWI civilian in-theater newspapers (both
French and U.S./British), and several issues of immediate post-WWI U.S. Army
unit, base, and/or Army of Occupation newspapers.

Four
(4) Five (5) copies of this newspaper, together with a Victory Edition
pictorial supplement, are available.
All
five copies were found with the pictorial supplement still folded inside the
newspaper after nearly 115 years.
