While the glass B&L lenses are unscratched they now have a patina of wear appropriate to approaching five decades of regular use. Similarly the gold plated frames also are tarnished in places giving them a genuine patina.
They were bought by the seller (in Harrods using staff discount as a student part timer) in the early 1980s, and have been in use on and off ever since. The rare browbar and wraparound ear retention has always made them incredibly versatile for any form of moving activity such as sport or motorcycling.
Sadly, the owner is no longer as suited to such activity and so a newer (very probably younger/fitter) one is sought!
These are genuine vintage and unusual/rare. Opening bid price reflects the condition, and hopefully the pictures show this.
