Sirloin Stockade Slaughter:  Murder on the Run.  By Emma Jean Stover.  Softcover, pub. 2009, 87 pages.  Signed by author.  Very good condition.  In June 1978 a family was murdered along I-35 near Purcell, Oklahoma.  A month later the employees at the Sirloin Stockade restaurant were all herded into a freezer and shot to death.  Oklahoma lawmen worked on the cases for 8 months until Roger Dale Stafford and his wife were arrested for the murders.  Stafford was on death row in Oklahoma until his execution in 1995.  One of Oklahoma's most notorious crimes.  Scarce true crime book on the events.  Shipping weight less than 1 pound.
