This brand new 220V 2kW Lay-Z-Spa Hydro Jet Heating Element is an upgraded part, specially designed for Pre -2021  HydroJet models. It includes a full seal kit, an installation video, and reinforced internal clamps to prevent rod push-outs, the previous version would push out as far to burn a hole in the outer case. The new clamps prevent this. Other companies are stating that the clamps stop rod push-outs. This is incorrect. rods will still push out if your water becomes aggressive. They just will not burn the outer case.

What This Fixes

High copper levels (from algaecides) and aggressive water chemistry can lead to pitting rod push-outs and corrosion, which may void your warranty. Keep your spa water balanced and regularly tested.

Easy DIY Installation (Approx. 30 Minutes)

Designed for confident DIYers, this heating element installs in under 30 minutes.

Tools Required:

• Phillips screwdriver

• Pliers

• Marker for labelling wires

• Drill

Installation steps:

1. Unplug the spa and remove the top cover.

2. Remove the circuit board cover.

3. Gently pull out the board for access and label the four wires (1–4).

4. Remove all screws on the heater front and rear plates.

5. Slide out the old element.

6. Bore the end holes to accommodate the new element

7. Install the new upgraded element with the included seals.

8. Reattach the plates and wires.

9. Replace all covers and test the spa.
