UNI-T UT208B 1000A True RMS Clamp Meter NCV AC DC Current Tester Temp LCD

Product Overview

The UNI-T UT208B is a professional-grade 6000-count digital clamp meter featuring automatic ranging, a large LCD display, True RMS measurement, and built-in NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) detection. It is designed for electricians, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals who need accurate and reliable measurements in demanding electrical environments.

The UT208B complies with CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V safety standards and is certified by CE, UKCA, and ETL. It features a LoZ mode to eliminate "ghost voltage," a LPF-ACV function for measuring inverter and VFD voltages, and an inrush current mode for capturing transient currents. The device also supports high-precision temperature measurement with 0.1°C resolution and is compatible with a flexible current probe (optional UT-CS09D accessory) to expand AC current measurement range up to 3000A.

Please note: The instrument is powered by 2 × 1.5V AA batteries (included).

Key Features

Important Notes

  1. Safety Warning: Do NOT measure energized circuits without proper training and protective equipment. Always follow local safety regulations.

  2. NCV Detection: The NCV function is for reference only. Do not rely solely on NCV for determining the presence or absence of voltage.

  3. Flex Probe Compatibility: The UT-CS09D flexible current probe is optional. Please ensure the accessory is properly connected and selected before measurement.

  4. LoZ Mode: Use LoZ mode to eliminate ghost voltage readings. The low input impedance helps discharge residual voltages in the circuit.

  5. Inrush Current: Inrush current measurement captures the initial current surge. Ensure the clamp is properly positioned before powering on the load.

  6. Battery Maintenance: When the low battery symbol appears, replace the 2 × AA batteries in time to ensure accurate readings.

  7. Safety Reminder: Please read the user manual carefully before first use. Do not place or store the Meter in environments with high temperature/humidity, dew, or direct sunlight. Keep the Meter and test leads clean. Do not drop the Meter.
