This is a limited-edition lithograph of concept art by Disney Legend Marc Davis for the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.  The print features the valuable hand-signatures of legendary Disney Imagineers signatures involved in the attraction's creation, including Marc Davis, Alice Davis, and X Atencio.  These hand-signatures on the front were obtained directly during the official 1997 gallery release event which featured these three legendary Imagineers - which is where I purchased it and since then has been stored flat (not mounted or displayed.   The scene depicts a humorous pirate character aiming a pistol while perched on a cannon.

Included is the original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from the Disney Gallery showing that this is a highly limited edition of only 350 pieces.  The lithograph is free of edge wear, fading, scuffs, and moisture damage. 

Many Disney lithographs are printed in runs of 1,000 to 5,000. This piece is from a much rarer run of only 350 standard prints (plus 35 artist proofs).

The COA documents the exact date of purchase: 22 March, 1997.  This marks the official 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland.  The size of the print is 27.5 x  35.5 cm or 11 x 14 ins.

Please note that the actual print no. is not included on either the print or the COA - it was a short run handed out at the Gallery on the day of the special event 22 March 1997 and then all plates and negatives used in the production of this print were destroyed.
