Founded in 1946, Maton Musical Instruments Company has grown into a leading Australian guitar brand.Its lineup, which respects local materials and exudes individuality, continues to gain more and more users worldwide.This instrument is a used Tommy Emmanuel signature model "EBG808TE," manufactured in 2018.The body top is made of AAA grade Sitka spruce, and the sides, back, and neck are made of Queensland maple.Queensland maple has sound characteristics similar to mahogany and is a tonewood used for body and neck materials.The 808 series is characterized by its deep body design, with a maximum body width between 000 and 00 sizes, producing a rich sound despite its small size.The fingerboard and bridge are made of pau ferro (Bolivian rosewood) with a bright, reddish hue.
The neck has a thin C-shape from the low to high positions, providing a comfortable grip.
The pickup system is AP5-Pro, which outputs a natural acoustic sound with a clear and transparent microphone sound and a powerful piezo presence.
Equipped with a master volume, the balance between the pickup and microphone can be easily adjusted.

Condition
The neck condition is good, with no warping and the truss rod is working perfectly.
The current string height is set lower than standard at 2.0mm for the 6th string and 1.5mm for the 1st string.
A kangaroo pin badge has been attached to the headstock as a later modification.
There are dents and buckle scratches on the back of the body.
The original dedicated hardshell case is included.
