Salute to the Brave Battle of Britain 50th Anniversary (1940 - 1990) framed and mounted First Day Cover - postmarks are for the Kent Battle of Britain Museum Hawkinge, Kent and dated 11th September 1990. The FDC has 5 different 20 pence stamps of commemorative medals. The medals depicted are Victoria Cross, George Cross, DSC, DFC and Military Cross. The wooden frame is glass fronted and black with gold coloured highlights. The frame measures approximately 28cm x 18cm, hardboard backed and taped, and has a hanging cord. Condition is very good.
