Original Lucas type 31 rear view mirror, popular aftermarket accessory for older classic cars. Mirror glass has a few blemishes but still provides a good clear reflection (the big mark in the photo is the reflection of a large bush next to my garage) and there is some pitting to the chrome stem and ball. The mirror moves freely on the stem (but not too freely). Mounting screw spacing is 1 1/4". The inside of the base is marked with the number "1048" which might be a date code, or it might not.
