This is a vintage real photo postcard (RPPC), unposted and featuring the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise nestled on the shores of Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. The image captures the resort following its major reconstruction phase in the mid-1920s. After a massive fire destroyed the original wooden hotel structure in 1924, the Canadian Pacific Railway quickly built the large concrete and brick central wing seen here. The postcard beautifully highlights the glass-like water reflection that has made the resort one of the most photographed destinations in the world.
