10.5” , dinner plate studio made with hand painted glazing of 2 heron with cattails. Made by Lisa Ernst Porcelain, functional art, in Jefferson City, MT

This plate is stunning and has no chips, cracks or crazing.

NOTE- there is hardened adhesive residue on the backside that I did not attempt to remove.

“I work with high fire porcelain, the Cadillac of clays. I choose the imagery of birds, especially water birds for their emblematic and cultural meaning. Glazes are applied in a water color style, which has Asian influences and is reminiscent of old world china.” - Lisa Ernst (taken from her website. Check it out!)
