Milwards Flymaster Hexcane Fly Rod. 9ft 3 piece with spare top.
The rod has been sympathetically renovated too a high standard retaining all original components. The guides have been rewippped with original black and gold jasper thread. Butt and tip guides are lined in agate.
The dark well tempered can cane is straight and the usual high quality that Milwards produced from that period period.
The ferrules fit correctly and are tight with no knocking.The reel seat is anodised a copper colour and the end unscrew to real a butt spike
Line size 6 and the action has a powerful butt and fast tip. Suitable for all round trout fishing.
The rod comes in its original makers bag and will be posted in a stout rod tube.
Great to use or collect. A good example and I quest dates from the late 1950s.
