Vintage SONY VCR SLV-575UC VHS Hi-Fi Video Cassette For parts or repair

Powers on and it showed the display on the tv. The buttons/knob worked. Would not play vhs, then proceeded to eat the tape, which is why I think it wouldn’t play.
