The case on offer is a particularly striking example of the Foster Jewelry Company's tradecraft It is sumptuously decorated with an Egyptian motif in a gold toned brass. The case's perimeter is also decorated in a similarly styled gold toned finish. Black baked enamel is used to great effect as a contract to the golden look. Altogether, this looks like a stylish piece of work. The main drawback to the case is that the hinge has been repaired and is still loose and there are scuff marks on the base. The case is marked internally with the patent Number 1973433 and the Foster logo. The case is 6cm in diameter and 1.5cm high. It weighs 45gm.
