This vehicle is affectionately known as Bluebell. She is a 1963 Land Rover Series IIA Petrol SWB.
She has been barn stored, with occasional fluid changes and periodic starting to prevent her from simply being left to waste.
This weekend, I put in some fresh fuel and connected a jump pack. She started straight away, although she stalled after a couple of minutes. I suspect there is some debris in the tank which may have been drawn through to the carburettor, but it proves that she runs. If a buyer wants to see her running, I can manually feed the carburettor to demonstrate this.
The bodywork is incredibly straight, and the interior is in very good condition for its age. The chassis condition is mediocre and, ideally, it would benefit from replacement as part of a proper restoration.
I also have a set of four matching tyres which I am happy to include in the sale.
Bluebell will need to be trailered away, and I am happy to help with loading. If required, I may also be able to offer delivery within 100 miles at a pre-agreed price.
