A vintage Longines from circa 1953, housed in a 14k yellow gold APEX-made case distinguished by beautifully sculpted claw-like lugs that give the watch a bold mid-century profile.

The silvered two-tone dial features a ring of gilt minute dots, applied faceted hour markers with oversized Arabic numerals at the quarters, pointed dauphine hands and central seconds. The crown, likely a later replacement, tucks neatly into the side of the case, preserving the neat profile. Powered by the Longines caliber 22LS manual-wind movement, the watch is fitted with a custom-made olive Swift leather strap.

The unusual sculpted case gives this otherwise classic dress watch considerably more personality, capturing some of the adventurous design language of the 1950s.
