You are buying an old French TAP 47/56 parachutist jacket hood in lizard camouflage. Famous for being used by both french metropolitan paratroopers and légion étrangère mainly in two conflicts in the overseas colonies, Indochina and later it would be used in Algeria War. From the period of the late 1950s until the mid 1960s.

The hood is in brand new unworn condition, dead-stock. The colors are vivid and bright. Herringbone twill in 100% cotton fabric. The hood has a drawstring for adjustment. The weight is 85 gr (2.9 oz.)
