Vintage lot of ten (10) original studio-issued press photos used to promote the 1984 classic romantic comedy "Splash," directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah, John Candy, and Eugene Levy. These authentic vintage studio silver gelatin prints distributed by Buena Vista Distribution Co. to newspapers and media outlets ahead of the film's theatrical release. They are NOT modern reproductions or digital prints.

Very Fine / Near Mint vintage condition. The photos feature bright whites, deep blacks, and sharp corners. There are no pinholes, staple holes, tape marks, tears, and heavy creasing or folds. Nine of the photos have completely pristine, blank reverses. One photo (code S-2, the suit portrait) has a very minor, localized surface smudge on the back side from age and handling. This is entirely superficial, does not bleed through to the front, and the front image remains perfect.
