Beautiful antique Crown Ducal Ware vase made in England, featuring a bold stylized butterfly or moth design against a black ground. The flared upper section has an orange and black luster-style pattern, with vivid yellow, green, red and cobalt-blue decoration. The interior is finished in a striking cobalt blue.

The vase has a tall cylindrical form with a flared trumpet-shaped rim and a classic early Art Deco appearance. Marked on the underside with the Crown Ducal Ware England backstamp. This mark is consistent with Crown Ducal production beginning around the mid-1920s

Antique condition with scattered surface wear, scratches and small areas of decoration loss. There is a chipped area with an apparent older repair or touch-up along the rim.
