Fine antique Japanese mixed metal bronze vase with gold and silver inlaid decoration featuring red crowned cranes surrounded by reeds. Created by Mitsunobu for the Kuroda Workshop in Kyoto. Inscribed 光延刻 'Carved by Mitsunobu' on the side and 京都 黑田造 'Kyoto, Made by Kuroda' underneath. Gorgeous example for a collection.
In good condition with age-related surface marks and patination as photographed.
