Antique western pa salt glaze stoneware crock Jar Stamped J SWANK & CO JOHNSTOWN PA 1/2 This item displays very good and is overall solid and fair to good condition in General, but has some minor to moderate imperfections.   this has  lite scratches all over,  minor surface wear,  lite staining,  moderate wear to base with flea bites,  minor wear to top rim with flea bites  stone pops all over,  bubbles in the clay, minor glaze crazing, kiln burns, glaze drips,   there is a very hard to see and very tight hairline on the bottom about 2 inches long and up the side  about 2 inches as seen in close up pics , there is also a in the making drying crack on the inside bottom only visible on the inside as seen in close up photo,  some remnants of red / black / green paint splatter all over, the stamp is overall strong and readable.
