We are renovating a home and just completed an estate sale.

That being said everyone wanted this item at the estate sale but we could not access it at the time due to it being stored very high and needing a one story ladder to get it down.

So here it is on Ebay.

It is very unique when viewed, it appears to be bamboo or rattan type material, but it is either painted or the material was soaked in bronze or copper paint or some sort of coloring, before being woven by hand to shape into what look like feathers. The legs and feet are metal which are attached to a base.

Very unique and imposing interior design type of item if you like these sorts of things.

It is large measuring about 50" high x 19" length x 11" width (will ship safely oversize UPS)

When the "early bird" estate buyers raced into this home, they told us it was old, from the UK but no one convienently could remember the artists name. (probably because they didn't want us looking it up). They said when initially created back in the day it sold for a few hundred.

This home is from the 1850s and in northern NJ.
