OVERVIEW
This is an aftermarket replacement touchscreen digitizer designed for Cadillac vehicles equipped with the CUE (Cadillac User Experience) infotainment system. It is not a genuine GM or Cadillac part. This screen replaces only the failed touch layer of the CUE module - no full unit replacement required.

WHY REPLACE THE SCREEN?
The original factory CUE screen uses a gel-based adhesive to bond the outer frame and digitizer together. Exposure to heat and sunlight causes this gel to harden over time, which can no longer properly transmit touch signals. This results in symptoms such as erratic or random touches, unresponsiveness, ghost touches, or a cracked spider-web appearance. Only the touch screen layer needs to be replaced - not the entire CUE module.
