Up for sale is an original 1920s/1930s Advance Machine Co. 1¢ Countertop Electricity Shocker Arcade Machine.
Unlike most units found today with frozen timers or dead coils, this machine is fully functional and ready to display or use.
⚡ Condition & Details:
- Mechanism: 100% working. Dropping a penny and turning the handle triggers the clockwork timer to wind, tick down, and close the circuit.
- Electrical: Original induction coil and vibrator points are completely intact and generate a strong, clean mechanical buzz.
- Power: Safely tested and running on a modern 1.5V battery setup. This matches the native voltage of the original, obsolete No. 6 dry cells without needing dangerous AC wall adapters.
- Meter: The front indicator needle responds accurately when the right knob is turned to adjust the intensity.
- Cosmetics: Features a bold, vintage red finish with a great natural patina on the coin slot and metal handles.
- Notes: The unit is missing the top marquee sign frame. The rear door is unsecured for easy battery access.
