Auralite 23, also known as Red Cap Amethyst, is a rare blend of crystals and one of Earths oldest minerals. Estimated to have formed around 1.2- 1.5 billion years ago. The name – Auralite 23 -  is derived from the “23” minerals that are contained within the chemical composition of the stone (the main being an Amethyst base with inclusions within). The 23 minerals are as follows ( not counting the base mineral  - Amethyst- Platinum, Gold, Silver, Nickle, Copper, Limonite, Iron, Covellite, Sphalerite, Chalcopyrite, Epidote, Gilaite, Bornite, Rutile, Geothite, Pyrolusite, Pyrite, Magnetite, Ajoite, Hematite, Titanite and Cacoxenite
