A wonderful OLD ABORIGINAL fluted hunting BOOMERANG with painted ceremonial decoration on both sides. Central Australia c1950. 

A good an example as you will see in excellent original condition with a patina from age and handling. Exact origin unknown but came from a family with Lutheran Mission connections before and after WWII.
