This unit is TOTALLY PASSIVE and designed to please ourselves and not just a marketing ploy or another copy of a copy
The ZD-1 Mark II CWOD allows control of the Overdrive effect with very unique features unlike ordinary guitar stomp boxes or equalizers It is actually designed for Hammond clone organs or synths or plugins

The special CWOD version can be used with clone wheel organs and synths/plug ins by driving it with a special transformer we have incorporated in the design In actual fact it can be used for any audio application requiring complex overdrive control

These are fully HAND ASSEMBLED in AUSTRALIA and of the HIGHEST QUALITY including a real wood control panel which is laser engraved and hand finished
The CWOD case is cast aluminium with black powder coating (will be upgraded soon to stainless steel)

Countless hours of research and development has gone into these designs and subtleties such as the variations of buzz caused by old V21 drivers has been implemented and though we had designed other variations they would have required a power supply or batteries but we've managed without them so it remains fully passive
In some situations where the signal isn't strong enough a cheap external clean boost pedal or a mixer etc can be used

Many other tweaks are possible and you'll definitely not find them in any other units produced
