Hisayoshi Okina (翁 久允, 1888–1973)
Hisayoshi Okina was born in Toyama Prefecture in 1888 and was known as both a Japanese writer and journalist. Throughout his career, he was also active in the fields of calligraphy and painting, producing works that reflected his deep appreciation for Japanese culture, literature, and Buddhism. His artistic style combines expressive brushwork with literary sensibility, resulting in works that possess both spiritual depth and cultural significance. Today, his paintings and calligraphic works are appreciated for their refined simplicity and historical value.
