Their win at Lord's was their FIRST Test victory on English soil (see below for archival footage of this event)!

The item:
Approximate size of sheet: c. 4" x 6" (approx. 10.2 cm x 15.5 cm)
Condition: Very Good Condition (particularly for its age), but please refer to attached image/s and make your own judgement.
Composition of autographs: Carefully signed by 12 members of the victorious South African 1935 Tour of England (South African won 1-0, with a victory at Lord's), plus The Hon. Charles John Littelton (later The Rt. Hon. Viscount Cobham, 9th Governor-General of New Zealand)
All autographs have been carefully signed in either fountain pen or pencil (see attached photographs and text below)


Signed by the following 13 (THIRTEEN) members of the 1935 South African Tour of England Squad:

Also signed by the 9th Governor-General of New Zealand
13. The Hon. Charles John Littelton (who represented Worcestershire against South Africa)
(Later succeeding his father as 10th Viscount Cobham, and then became the 9th Governor-General of New Zealand). From an aristocratic family prominant to the development of New Zealand.


The 10th Viscount came from a long line of aristocratic cricketers (his Uncle, Father, Grand-father, and Great-Grandfather all playing First Class cricket)
