Titan Guitars KR-1 Verde Chiaro (2010s) (no260709)

TITAN GUITARS is a small manufacturer with only three employees, but its concept is to "provide excellent guitars at reasonable prices." They incorporate extensive machining to design high-performance guitars unlike anything seen before. They carefully select reliable parts and materials, and achieve sound quality equivalent to luthier-made guitars through innovative ideas.

The KR-1 is TITAN GUITARS' flagship model, manufactured at the Kauer Guitars workshop in California, USA.

The body is basswood, the neck is maple, the fingerboard is wenge round-laminated, and the pickups are LOLLAR, with a Gold Foil in the front and a CHICAGO STEEL in the rear, both 2018s models. GOTOH locking tuners are used.

It is in full original condition with no replaced parts. There is some tarnishing on the metal parts, but they function well. The fingerboard has some wear, but this does not affect playability. There are only minor pick scratches on the pickguard, making it in beautiful condition for a used instrument.

The neck is straight and in excellent condition, and the truss rod is functioning properly. The frets appear to have been played very little, showing minimal wear and retaining their original height. The nut width is 42.5mm, and the slightly thicker, solid C-shaped neck provides excellent playability.

The Gold Foil front pickup has a mellow, slightly rounded midrange that creates a nice atmosphere, while the rear pickup has a thick bass and a clear, well-defined tone. When mixed, they blend perfectly, combining the best of both, resulting in a solid mid-low range and mild highs. Overall, the highs are mild and not harsh on the ears, and the thick, sustained midrange is very pleasant. The sound changes considerably depending on the position, allowing for a variety of playing styles and making it a versatile instrument suitable for various genres of music.
