OVERVIEW

The Pentair Pentek EPM-BB is a Modified Epsilon Series carbon block replacement cartridge designed for whole house water filtration. It is a modified version of the EP Series cartridge, utilizing bonded Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) filter media for chlorine taste and odor reduction as well as sediment filtration.

FILTER MEDIA AND CONSTRUCTION

- Filter Media: Bonded Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC), wrapped in polyolefin with polyethylene outer netting

- End Caps: Polypropylene

- Gaskets/Seals: Buna-N (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)

- Outer Wrap: Protective sediment pre-filtration layer designed to trap particles before they reach the carbon block, extending cartridge service life
