  • Hen w/ yellow fence (#209):  1st "A" edition, ©1954. Edge wear, heaviest at lower right corner resulting in ragged page edges in that spot. No writing (except erased name). Folds and 1/2" closed tear on last page. 28-page edition. Secure binding. 
  • Hen biting wheat (#296):  "C" edition, the 1st printing at this LGB number, as issued in 1957. Heavy wear at upper right corner affecting covers and pages. Only writing is name. No tears. 24 pages. Secure binding. Same story and illustrations as above.
More worn than other Little Golden Books I list, but a fun vintage set.
