An unused 19th-century U.S. 3-cent George Washington stamp from the Bank Note series.

* Believed to be Scott 184 (dealer envelope so identified), but sold as Scott 184? since it has not been expertized.

* Unused / uncancelled.

* No original gum (or gum removed); back is clean with no obvious hinge remnants.

* Soft paper.

* Fresh green color with complete perforations.

* Fine to Fine-Very Fine centering.

* No tears or obvious thins noted under transmitted light. Please examine the photographs carefully for your own assessment.

Acquired from the inventory of a long-closed antique shop. Original dealer envelope marked “184 Uncan.” will be included with the stamp.

Shipped in a protective glassine and rigid mailer.
