Ibanez 1984 Destroyer 2/ Fire Red (1984) (no260707)

This is a 1984 Ibanez Destroyer 2 / Fire Red.
This is a rare Destroyer bass with the early specifications: a rounded headstock and a medium scale length. (Later specifications had a pointed headstock and a longer scale length.)
The bridge saddles have been replaced with new GOTOH saddles, but the three original saddles are included.
The balancer pot, master volume, and master tone pots have been replaced.
There are paint cracks at the neck joint and on the body top from the neck end to the front pickup, but the wood is not cracked.
The neck is in good condition, the truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, and most of the frets remain.
It is equipped with the original humbucker pickups. A mini-switch allows switching between humbucker series, parallel, and single-coil modes.
There is some tarnishing, scratches, and dents on the parts, but overall it is in good condition. The guitar has undergone complete maintenance, including oiling the fretboard, polishing the frets, adjusting the neck's curvature, adjusting the octave, adjusting the pickup height, and checking the electronics. A new ESP gig bag is included.
