Original vintage travel advertising poster by the notable poster artist A.M. Cassandre (Adolphe Mouron Cassandre, 1901-1968) published for the Venezia Graphic design conference in 1951 and used by the Italian tourist office ENIT to promote the city of Venice in north east Italy. Stunning Art Deco iconic design featuring a gondolier leaning forward on his traditional gondola boat in front of a historic building on a canal with the image reflected on the calm water below, capturing the peaceful and romantic atmosphere of the city, the text in stylized lettering with the logos on each side.

Gorgeous poster purchased in 2021 from a reputable dealer (see attached COA) and had it beautifully matted and framed at my personal framer in Allston, MA. Local pick up on Cape Cod or Boston can be arranged.

PLEASE NOTE: the unframed poster image is a copy of the poster as the reflection was difficult to photograph.
